All is NOT okay!: It's all too common for doctors to imply that nothing's wrong when we can't find the cause. Perhaps it's a condition that doesn't show up on MRI or it's in a location that the MRI didn't cover. Perhaps something you do regularly is causing a repetitive strain injury. Perhaps you have carpal tunnel with referred pain up towards your neck. In any case, you need further evaluation. Please!

Pain move both ways: Entrapments in soft tissue will not show up on MRI scans. Common ones are at the brachial plexus by a tight first rib, or neck muscles causing anterior scalene syndrome. Ulnar nerve at elbow or even median nerve in forearm and wrist can send pain, numbness or tingling up toward the neck as well as down the arm. See a PMR doc for a 2nd opinion.
