May be nothing: Reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. This can be fine for a man. Before you retest, drink a few glasses of water before the blood draw. If you have sleep apnea, have recently used anabolic steroids, or have a minor hemoglobin variant, the explanation may be simple. There are a variety of other possibilities. Best wishes.
