Yes, but only if...: It's always best to discuss your medications' risks, benefits & alternatives w/prescribing physician. In the case of Nortriptyline, check out http://www.drugs.com/dosage/dextromethorphan.html. While it's not a good idea immediately after heart attack, it can be used in heart disease if closely supervised.
