Unfortunately: In many circumstances, "healthy" foods cost more than "junk" food. Some of this revolves around what comprises "healthy" foods versus "junk" food, as governmental subsidies allow for the food stuffs that tend to make up most of "junk" food cheaper than healthy foods! Just think about how massive a meal you can get at McDonald's for under six bucks or even less !
