Yes & Yes.: Yes. The reason is that many of these foods are high in calories, high in simple sugars & high in saturated fat. Processed foods also tend to have a high salt content. Junk food usually has lower nutritional value than healthy foods. You know the old adage: junk in - junk out. The junk is the outcome for your body.
