A member asked:

What exactly does it mean when breast cancer has spread to the lymph node?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Can be stage 2 or higher breast cancer. Would need more information on breast tumor size, cell type, hormone receptors, tumor dna. Will need surgery for lumpectomy & removal of some axillary lymph nodes, chemotherapy, radiation therapy. The oncologist that has all the information can be much more informative.
