How can a ct scan show if a lymph node is cancerous or not?

CT , nodes and CA: CT shows anatomy. Lymph nodes usually don't show up or are very small. When the radiologist can see and measure a lymph node it than becomes suspicious for cancer. If it is greatly enlarged than it is more likely to be Cancer. A PET scan will show if the lymph node is active ie growing faster than normal tissue. If there is a doubt a biopsy can be done. All scans have a resolution of size dectable
