Xanax (alprazolam) and breastmilk: Xanax (alprazolam) passes into human breastmilk, and it's use during breastfeeding is not generally recommended. Infants exposed to Xanax (alprazolam) containing breast milk are at risk for excessive sedation and respiratory depression.
