Yes- adversely: Xanax (alprazolam) is fda pregnancy category d. Xanax (alprazolam) should not be used during pregnancyt. It could harm the unborn baby. Xanax (alprazolam) may also cause addiction or withdrawal symptoms in a newborn if the mother takes the medication during pregnancy.
