About

Bio

TTrained at Menninger School of Psychiatry in Topeka Kansas. Was chief of inpatient unit at Ireland Army Hospital Ft. Knox before going to Vietnam as 1st Division Psychiatrist 69-70. Returned to Normal Illinois where I've been in private practice. Still see outpatients three days a week for evaluation and treatment and consult out of town the other two days. Practice limited to nice patients! :) Married to Debbie R.N. who works in our office. Dr. Gabriel Telot is in the office with me--we've been friends since 1961. Also have five therapists in the office. I have five children (one is an informally adopted godson) and five grandchildren. Also two Yorkies. I've published a number of scientific papers, presented several at the APA & published four books (.see www.dougbey.com website)
