Wrong idea: Even at the very end-stages of HIV infection, the person continues to make antibodies, usually more than even a healthy person does. Immunity is far more complicated than "having enough antibodies" or other "pop" concepts. Humoral / antibody immunity is altered but enhanced in some ways, while cell-mediated immunity is greatly impaired.
