Ive done hiv rapid test antibody at 14 days and 42 days and it was negative , and i tested again negative with 4th generation hiv test at 43 days , should i done it at 3 months again ? or its conclusive ?

4th generation test is conclusive at 6 weeks, or 42nd day. So congratulations on your negative test at 43 days. No repeat necessary until repeat exposure which you will not let happen . Good luck.

Hi Dr, how accurate is the antibody part of a 4th generation test at detecting hiv-2 at 38 days post exposure since p24 is not detectable on hiv-2. Doc has said I am conclusive about my negative status. Exposure was in Thailand.
