4+ weeks: Most non displaced fractures will be fairly comfortable in 4 weeks or so, but you'll probably be stiff and somewhat achey for another month or two. A general rule is 75% healing at 8 weeks.

4-8 weeks: You are looking at a minimum of 4 weeks for the bone to heal. Once your x-rays are clear and you have no pain, you'll return to normal activities (6-8 weeks likely). Swelling, unfortunately, takes a while to go away. Don't get frustrated if you get out of the aircast and are stuck in sneakers only for a while!
