Have cast changed: It is not uncommon that you are unable to move your toe, if it is the one associated with the fractured metatarsal. You have been in a cast for a month if you are having a problem the cast can be removed and the foot examined.

Fx 2nd met: Sounds like the foot swelled andthe cast became too tight. What you should do first is get off the foot, elevate the leg and foot above the heart and put an ice bag behind the knee. Leave the ice on 30 mins, then remove 30 mins. Continue this regiment for several hours. If you can take, take 600mg to 800mg Ibuprofen twice a day. If the pain doesn't stop in 24 hours, see your doctor, asap.
