Try conservative hair styles with out a lot of twists and ties. Use good scalp care. Breast feed and avoid medications. Gather up the hair and store it for a time when you have a mother daughter talk about sacrifice and love.

Hair loss: It is not uncommon to loss hair after a pregnancy. Many times it will grow back but could take up to 6 months. Biotin is safe and mat help the re-growth process. 1200mcg/day is recommended.
