My daughter had a baby a week ago. she is breastfeeding. is it safe for her to use a permament hair dye while breast feeding.

OK: The issue of using hair dyes while pregnant & breastfeeding has been addressed by the NHS in Great Britain & the American Pregnancy Association. It is their position that most research has indicated the chemicals which are found in both semi-permanent and permanent dyes are not highly toxic and are safe to use during pregnancy & while breastfeeding.
