35 micrograms: Biotin is Vitamin B7. SO make sure none of your other supplements - Like your Prenatal vitamins (which you should still be taking if you are breastfeeding) - contain B7 (Biotin). The FDA recommends 30 mcg per day, and 35 if Breastfeeding.
Post birth hair loss is a common, and benign process. Your hair is most likely to come back without doing anything specific.
