How long does it take for gastritis and/or an ulcer to heal?

Depends: it depends on many factors, most importantly what was causing the gastritis or ulcer in the first place. It also depends on medications, the presence or absence of Helicobacter pylori, and the the size and severity of the initial problem. If you are still having problems, I would talk to your doctor again. Good luck.
