How long does it take for stomach ulcers to form after you start having gastritis pains?

Already formed.: Burning epigastric pain made worse by or unrelated to food is probably the most distinguishing symptom of stomach ulcer. When these symptoms occur, the ulcer is probably already formed. Symptoms like these can occur when there is no ulcer and are less responsive to therapy.
