Be seen: Your rapid heart rate should certainly be investigated further for the cause. You may have a serious cardiac condition such as atrial fibrillation, for example.

See MD or ER: Please see your doctor or an ER or clinic today if you have a sustained heart rate of 176. This may be due to meds you are taking or to stresses, but it is not a normal rate. You must be seen to evaluate your heart..
Even thyroid issues can cause rapid heart rate
Good luck and feel better.
