No: if you do not have it you should not be that likely to develop it. Just do not have any further turbinate surgery.

Doubtful : That problem would likely have presented itself already, if you are 3 years out from surgery. If there's some dryness then you have to moisturize with nasal saline mist or gel. There are other products like GeloNasal that can help you. You usually need to have a lot more tissue removed to have empty nose syndrome. See your ENT for help for more help.
