Nose job: Yes. After surgery on the nasal septum you can expect head pain to last a while (eg. Several weeks to go away). Your nasal membrane is very sensitive, the lining of the bones to which it is attached is very sensitive. Imagine it like you got a good punch in the nose. It would hurt for a while.

Should feel relief: After cleansing and evacuating your sinuses, you should feel relief and a decongested feeling if you are feeling pain, you should discuss with your ent.

How, exactly, does a septoplasty fix a deviated septum? Does the surgeon take off some cartilate from the side with the smaller nostril? Actually cut off and move the whole septum? I'm confused and don't really understand the explanations i've read.

I had a brain operation. Part of my brain was removed. In that SD space liquid & mucus is filling. The Neuro Surgeon say it will remove itself ftom my head. When it is removed where will the liquid move too?
