A member asked:

I have a patch of exposed cartilage (doctor confirmed) the size of the end of a q-tip on my septum inside my nose, likely caused by damaged blood supply from septoplasty. i am three weeks post-surgery. will skin heal over this? how long?

Usually will heal on its own up to 4 months to do so as the cartilage has poor blood supply. Three weeks is very early as scar from surgery matures the defect should close
