Not uncommon: Your other teeth may also ache. This is called referred pain and is also a temporary condition. For moderate pain, Motrin and Tylenol (acetaminophen) are recommended. For severe pain the prescribed medication (opioid) is indicated for short term pain control. Call your surgeon.

Pain: You had surgery. Pain meds may take the edge off until pain begins to subside, usually after 48-72 hours. If you need additional support return to the Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon who did the surgery for post-surgical reevaluation.
