My ankle is swelling again after a 9 month peroneal tendon surgery. it now swells everyday and is hurting, what else can alleviate my symptoms?

Normal: With peroneal tendon repair, there is most likely suture and/or a graft that was used. It takes a long time for it to absorb or incorporate to your tissues--scar tissue can also cause pain/swelling for a while. I would expect swelling for a year or more. If the pain is very severe, there is always the chance that you have a recurrence (unlikely). Rest and take antinflammatory medication.
