No: No the bone spurs are in front of the vertebrae, away from the nerves. You could still have a pinched nerve in the neck, it is just that xrays would not typically show that and do an MRI is the test of choice to show nerve impingement in the spine.

No,: the spinal cord and nerve roots are posterior to the vertebral bodies. What you are likely seeing are small osteophytes(due to degenerative arthritis) or anatomic variations...due to the anterior location they do not have the ability to impinge on the cord/nerve roots.

Bone spur: Usually are from an arthritic process. Well the presence of an snteriorbone spur would not affect the nerve roots or spinal cord specifically by itself it can be an indication that there can be other pathology going on and if you have Neck arthritis r and have radicular symptoms further work up an investigation is warranted
