Go to ER: Unless you can see your PCP immediately you need to go and be professionally evaluated. Shortness of breath suggests something in your lungs and blood in mucous? From where is the mucous? Please go and get seen and hopefully this will turn out to minor, but does have the potential to be severe. Best wishes.
