Could happen: This could happen even without being on absorbica. You probably need antibiotics to treat this.

Upper respriatory : It sound more like an upper respiratory infection rather than a side effect of your medication. If your symptoms do not resolve, or worsen in 3-4 days, notify your doctor of your symptoms.
