Test for: Tb, whether it means through the skin test(mantoux), blood test(like T-spot). Also, depending where the density is, you can attempt to collect induced sputum(respiratory) samples to look for and/or culture for tuberculosis, or even biopsy the area.

TB vs scar: Nodular densities in the lung are often seen as a result of scarring. If you are concerned about TB then getting a TB skin test would be the first step. If it is negative then the nodule in the lung is not TB. If it is positive and you are not coughing then it means you have been exposed to TB but do not have active TB. If it is positive and you are coughing then you need sputum culture done.
