My doc refused to do urinary pcr to check for scrotal tb, he insists mantoux test is accurate enough. is mantoux test reaaly that sensitive?

Why?: Like me, your doctor probably wonders why on earth you think you have scrotal tb. A mantoux test is a good test for determining whether you harbor the TB bacillus. If it's negative, you should probably look for another explanation for whatever is bothering your scrotum.
