Treatment time: Treatment of pott's disease is unclear. Some say 6-9 months, 9-12 months or 18 months. I am sure your doctor is aware that the shorter treatment time have shown some recurrence and since the bug has been exposed to antibiotics, they get resistant. Doctors want complete treatment and eradication of disease without risk of recurrence and resistance and that is what your doctor wants.
