Generally no.: As a powerful non-COX-2 selective inhibitor, indomethacin can increase your bleeding risk and be contraindicated for surgery. We usually recommend that NSAIDs such as indomethacin be held for 5-7 days prior to surgery.

Not a great idea: Indomethacin can deactivate your platelets for up to a week and make you more prone to bleed during your surgery.
