I am on lamictal for bi polar disorder and topamax for migraines, i am scheduled for a 24 hour eeg, should i skip my meds in preparation for my test? i was told they could possibly cause my test results to be inaccurate. if so how many days before hand

No Ask the doc: Talk with your doctor that persribed these before the test If necessary delay the test Probably little problems if you stop it but consult the doctor. Best wishes

Do NOT stop meds.: Where did you receive such INANE advice? If you suddenly stop your meds, both of your conditions could exacerbate. Talk to your doctor about how to properly manage your meds, with/ or without tests.
