Hi,i went for an external and internal ultrasound,and they found 4 cysts.he mentioned one of them looked vascular.what does that mean?

More Info Please!: What is your age? If you are menstruating, where were you on your cycle when you were studied? Why were you sent for the sono? Presumably the, "Cysts" were cyclic ovarian cysts. The one that was vascular COULD be a corpus luteum which forms after an egg is released and before the menses start. It is likely that a followup sono will be done to confirm resolution (disappearance) of the cysts.
