Calcified cyst: ovarian cyst? Ovarian follicular/ovulatory cyst are not calcified, which means that over time, calcium minerals have begun to form in the lining of the cyst (similar to minerals forming on the lining of your shower). To give advice, we need more info because calcification can occur on both benign and malignant types of cysts.
