Morning sickness: If the "sicky" feeling in your stomach is nausea, then it is very normal. Nausea and vomiting is normal in pregnancy because of the effects of one of the pregnancy hormones called progesterone. The progesterone levels in pregnancy usually start to decrease at about 12-13 weeks of pregnancy. This corresponds to when most women's morning sickness starts to improve.
