Seek expert advice: An 18 week stillbirth is unusual and your cousin should have a thorough evaluation with either a reputable reproductive endocrinologist and/or a maternal fetal medicine specialist before she conceives again. So sorry : ... That she has had to go through such a difficult year. Before trying again, it might be helpful to see a high risk doctor to try to find out why she's having so much trouble. Depending on the reason, there may be things she can do before she gets pregnant to help have a good outcome.
