Multiple miscarriage: At seven weeks, it is not unusual to have slight bleeding (or brown discharge), as the ovary drops its production of progesterone, and the placenta may not be producing enough. Ask your OB about progesterone supplementation. If this pregnancy aborts it may be due to a uterine abnormality (septum, etc.), so ask about a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) or genetic counseling if HSG normal.
