Means nothing: Lupus patients often run a relatively low absolute neutrophil account because of autoimmunity. That's the number to watch. Only if it goes way-low is it a danger. I'm glad you're proactive about this. Best wishes.

Went in for joint pain, sun rash, headaches and severe fatigue. Blood work-CRP 8, ESR normal. RDW 16.3% w/ MCHC 30.7 but hgb & hct normal. Positive for EBV antibodies, no recent infection and negative on mono. ANA speckled @ 1:160. Any ideas? Lupus?
