A member asked:

What does it mean if your endometrial thickness is 4.8mm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good: In a postmenopausal woman, the endometrial lining should be less than 5mm thick. If it is, then there is a less than 5% chance that there is an endometrial cancer present. If it is > 5mm, an endometrial biopsy may be needed.
