A member asked:

On my 12th day follicular study my ovary size is 38x23 and 33x26 ovaries are large with small cyst and endometrial thickness 7.7 what is meant by this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is a phase: During the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle, hormonal changes causes follicular cysts to form in the ovaries and increase in thickness of the lining of the uterus. This coincides when a woman feels abdominal bloating, heaviness, and even moody. This phase is immediately followed by menstrual flow which makes the cysts shrink and allow the lining of the uterus to go back to normal.
