A member asked:

What are the symptoms of cancer in the abdomen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Visceral problems: Masses related to cancer that appear in the abdomen have to be distinguished from lesions arising in retroperitoneum behind the abdominal content i.e. renal lesions or retroperitoneal sarcomas. In the abdomen the typical lesion is of stomach or bowel origin. Here one finds masses that grow, bleed and eventually obstruct bowel. When spread, the common site is to liver to cause jaundice.
