Lymph nodes in portahepatis & portacaval seen on mri. can this be cancer somewhere in the abdomen? have symptoms of pancreas cancer but no tumor seen.

Yes but depends on s: It all depends on the size of the lymph nodes. If the nodes are larger than 1 cm, then we have to be concerned. Anything over 2cm in size requires a biopsy to exclude cancer. These nodes can be enlarged due to cancers in the liver, bile ducts and rarely stomach and pancreatic cancers.
