Hi, i suffer from rls and my doctor has prescribed diazepam 5mg a night, had 15mg, no relief. can i take more.

NO: diazepam is a controlled substance, because of its habit forming propensity, take only as your Dr prescribes. This is not a simple matter, Benzodiazepine withdraw, can be dangerous (to the point of deadly).

Not advised: You must be very careful with medication especially one like valium which is a benzodiazepine that can cause respiratory depression/sedation if too much is taken. There are other medications available for RLS such as mirapex (pramipexole). I would also have your iron level checked as RLS symptoms occur with even mild iron depletion.
