Not correct issue,: forehead thermometers may be quite accurate yet simultaneously very misleading. Why? Because they measure local skin temp, not core body temp, the key concern. When brain wants core temp to ↑, blood flow to skin & skin temp ↓es to minimize heat loss, & visa versa. Stomach, bladder, rectal temp most reliable indicators, under tongue next best. Skin temp of very limited value, often misleading.
