Is there any antidepressant which is chemically similar to valium ? valium seems to help the most for my depression but not allowed it long term ?

Anxiety can feel bad: Valium is an anti-anxiety agent.Many persons with depression also suffer from anxiety & feeling anxious can make the depressive (& other symptoms) feel worse. Valium & its cousins generally do not treat depression directly.Valium specifically can be dangerous long term as it has active by products that hang around,accumulate & can be toxic.
