Infection?: Lymph nodes (glands) usually enlarge when they work hard to fight off infections. Five months is a long time to go w/o checking w/ a doctor for the cause. There are other things under jaws - salivary glands, thyroid, etc. Have an exam - perhaps see an ENT specialist. Something is not right and it's not self-correcting so far. Best wishes!
