Heart surgery: That's wonderful that no organisms are growing. Hopefully removing the vegetation has cured her problem. Keep in touch with her doctors for updates on her status.

That's good: It's great that the vegetation was removed and she has negative cultures. Does she have congenital heart disease or any central lines reaching the heart? If not the ask the doctor why she had a vegetation/infectious endocarditis in the first place. Good luck.
