My daughter age 23 has long covid with breathing difficulties, lung and heart pain and fatigue. i heard that blood micro clots could be a cause. how can she be tested for this?

First ideally she would have to be tested for the presence of microclots before being prescribed actual anticoagulant therapy. At this time I think such a test would only be available at a research center. I wonder if taking low dose aspirin would be worthwhile at this time. Do some research to see what centers may be doing research in the presence of microclots in these longhaulers of Covid.

A cardiac evaluation D Dimer and Chest HRCT may be indicated. Please follow up with your physician and specialist. More details re the type of heart condition would be helpful. Watch for signs of swelling, shortness of breath and dizziness.
