Abnormal: Mitral repair needs correlation with symptoms and events. Recent dental work or abscesses. Fever, chills, weight loss and signs of acute infection. Presume it is acute and will be treated after blood cultures and finding any specific bacteria. Vegetations can be bacterial clusters and or fibrotic material hanging on the valve or supporting structures.
